It is the mother of all engineering.normal people believe a house can be constructed just by a mason and civil engg is not require. But only we civil engineers know why such houses leak bear cracks at early stage why dampness firms in walls even in summer. The argument people say which civil engineers built our temples and monuments.they stand for 1000 years while you buidings we dont stand even 100 years. Hey guys we don't want our buildings be uneconomical with 1000 pillars we consider economy, safety all. It's the branch which will covers all aspect of life. you want good agriculture? You need a good irrigation engineer. you want good water you need water resources engineer. you need u travel you need civil engineer to build track, road, bridge. You want safe building you need structural engineer, geotech engineer there are public health engineers to maintain proper sanitation town planning engineers for better living environmental engineers and more. last bit not least architects boast they do buildings. they can only give aesthetic appearance. economy safety is decided only by civil engineer. can an architect design a dam!! Or bridge. It will people trust him and use those structures.civil engineering rules the world. SO I AM PROUD AND HAPPY TO HAVE CHOSEN CIVIL ENGG
