What is the volume of sand in per cubic meter if we have a design mix of concrete is 1:2:4 (by volume).

Answer Posted / shamsideen mohammed sakwa

1:2:4=7, let's assume the area to be plastered is 100m2
0.012*100=1.2m3
2/7*1.2=0.3428572
You divide your ans by the volume of the tipper per trip,
0.3428572/3.82m3 per single trip
=1.3097145
Approximately = 1.31
