All plc's work under four checks
Ai - Analog I/p
Ao- Analog o/p
Di - dig I/p
Do- Dig o/p
Commands like Motor on & Off are Do's
Commands like Drive operation, control valves operations means any type of partial operations between its low range and high range will be AO
Inputs are of 3 major types , (0-5) V DC, (0-10)v DC & (4-20) mA
All types of feedbacks like proximity ( PNP,Npn ) then feebbacks like actuator open/close, Motor on/off/trip, Feeder healthy/not healthy will be Digital inputs
