A DP Endress and Hauser flow transmitter is always tripping
pump at low flow. set point is 74 cubic meter/hr. Thorough
impulse line flushing and zero calibration has been done,
yet problem persists. What do you think is the problem and
how do you rectify this fault?
Answer Posted / ntia
Check the strainer of your pump..remember that your pump supplies the pressure...if the pump strainer is dirty...it will be be giving low flow and since your dp was set to shutoff the pump at a low flow..then your dp will continue to shut off the pump until the pump is cleaned and the fault is rectified.
