why 1.25 factor is to be multiplied to cylindrical strength
of concrete while getting the equvalent cubical strength of
concrete?

due to less height there is an overlapping in end friction in cubes. the end friction effect is up to 0.8*base dimension for each face which gives 0.6*L overlapping
but cylinder have double height than base dimension which will eventually stops from end friction overlapping.
