why we use caffeine for hplc calibration?

caffeine having different wavelengths it having 2 maxima & 1 Minima . First maxima is 205 nm & second maxima is 273 nm . Minima is 245 nm. caffeine easily available in market. It is very stable we can use a long time for analysis (it is not degradable)
