If the output of a 100kva, 415v generator is stepped up to
11kv with a 500kva transformer,can the transformer be
Loaded above the source generator loading?
Answer Posted / kushal parikh
Transformer can be loaded upto 5 times as generating source is 100kVA and transformer is of 500kVA. Other source can be added by putting it on same bus.
