why does a transmitter o/o signal starts from 3-15psi or 4-
20mA?
Answer Posted / prashant jadhav
If we look at Hazardous and power consumption point, 4-20 mA is the perfect range qualifying both points...Not able to produce large sparks and consumes least power...So it is made as a Standard signal..

Definition of reverse and acting controllers:
Why use ball valves on Gas pipelines instead of gate & or globe valves...means basic diffrence or use of these valves..how designers knows this type of valve with rating is required...
1)How many tpes of vibration probe and how many tpyes of vibration. 2)how we can calibrate a vibration probe with tk3 3)what is RMS value in vibration measuring application and how we calculate it.
Specify ideal accuracy of flow element like orifice plate, Ventury, Annubar. Ultrasonic flow meter etc.
Calculate the maximum pressure drop that can be allowed to occur across a control valve, so that we can prevent cavitation / flashing from occurring. Use the following formula: Δ P allow = Km (P1 – PvapourA) where, Δ P allow - the maximum allowable differential pressure for sizing purposes, or terminal pressure drop; Km- the valve recovery coefficient from the manufacturer’s catalogue; P1 - absolute inlet fluid pressure; PvapourA - absolute fluid vapour pressure at the inlet temperature; Use Atmospheric pressure = 101.3 kPa, P1 = 1200 kPa(g), PvapourA = 4 kPa, KM = 0.72
