its the difference between the stator speed and the rotor speed with respect to stator speed
Ns-stator speed
Nr-rotor speed
 slip=(Ns-Nr)/Ns
it usually varies between 0-1
when Ns=Nr then slip=0,that means rotor rotates with the same speed as that of stator,then induction motor is called synchronous motor

I meggared my 2c*70 sq mm AL AR XLPE cable. its one end show 50 M ohm . is my cable is safe for laying. I have only one phase and neutral.
