dear friends,
we are use 130 hp load run with 0.98 power factor ( 38KVAR
capacitor connected ). if we need improve the the power
factor to 1 (unity). how much kvar capacitor to be add. have
any formula? please share with me.

COS-1.98=11.470
TAN11.470=KVAR1/KW
KVAR1=19.69
COS-11=00
TANO0=KVAR2/KW
KVAR2=0
Required KVAR=KVAR1-KVAR2
=19.69KVAR
