What is the difference between AMF panel and DG
Synchronization panel? please define the working of both
the panels?

AMF Panel: is Auto Mains failure panel. When the EB power goes off with a time delay signal will go to DG self
starter to start the DG. And when the EB power
resumes, after definite time delay stop signal goes to DG
and EB supply contactor will become ON.For a fraction of
time power will not be there for the utilities.
In synchronization OF DG SETS, When the EB power goes off with a time delay signal will go to DG self starter to start the DG AND WHEN THE LOAD REACH THE 90% CAPACITY OF THE DG-1 THEN THE DG-2 WILL START AND THE DG-2 gen-set is to synchronize with the existing DG-1 THEN ,we've to match the magnitude of the voltage, phase angle and the frequency and then only we've to switch on the incoming set's breaker. THATS WHY THE OUT PUT SUPPLY SUPPLY OF BOTH DG SET WILL RUN ON THE SAME COMMON BUS BARS ( MEANS- DG-5OO KVA / DG-2 380 KVA THEN THE TOTAL LOAD IS 780 KVA ON COMMON BUS BARS ) IN THIS WAY WE CAN SYN. ELECTRICAL CITY BOARD POWER AND DG POWER ALSO.
