DLP MEANS :DEFECTS LIABILITY PERIOD (Certificate)"
Normally it will count from the completion of the project up to 365 days as per the FIDIC. In between these period, contractor need to rectify all the maintenance and other damages. after the DLP the Consultant will be provided the Defects Liability Certificate. Then the contract can submit the Final Statement to the consultant/client for getting there 5% retention money.
