After HSC, I did diploma in computer application and
technology (full time 2 years consist 4 semeseter) hence i
got admission in Bsc[IT] second year then i completed 2nd
and 3rd year and have my Bsc[IT] degree.
Now I have education like:
SSC + HSC + 2 years DIPLOMA + 2 years OF BSC[IT]
10+2+2+2=16
my question is.. am i eligible to file L1-B visa through my
company? as per the rules US needs 16 years of education or
15 years education + 3 years of experience. but i dont have
that much experience. so please let me know whether my
education can be treated as 10+2+2+2=16 YEARS?

Hi, I got rejected 3 times for B1 2 years back. but that time i was working for small company. now i am going to appear for the L1 visa. my profile has couple of changes, one is, i am working for a bigger well known company and now i have completed MCA. earlier when i got rejected B1, i only had MBA which is not a technical degree since i am into software development. HI all i have a total work ex of 4 plus years in some of the top IT companies of india. I have a btech in information technology. I was placed from college in 2006. I did my final year in 2006 but because of ill health was unable to give one paper which i gave in session 2007-2008. I am having 6.5 years of experience in IT and presently I am working in a reputed MNC. My company is soon going to apply for L1A for me. The reason I am worried because, the first company where I worked almost 2.7 years sold there business and presently there are no existence of it. Except the appointment as well as release letter from this company I don’t have any other documents like bank statement or form16 (As it was a small company we used to get the payment in cash.).
