why do we connect voltmeter in parallel,why not in
series,and why do we connect ammeter in series why not in
paprallel...

Ammeter has low resistance coil,so it always connected in series otherwise it short with load because of low resistance path and voltmeter have high resistance ,so it connected in paralel,if voltmeter connected in series it will resist current flow
