How to adjust the zero & span of a control valve from the
posiitioner(MIL)?

Answer Posted / ashish b. patel

when you are open the positioner there are two setting, zero & span. positioner to give 4 mA and set the Zero adjust and valve should be 0% open. after give 20 mA and set to span and valve should be 100% open. this to adjust are very important. after you can give again 4 mA- 0%, 8 mA- 25%, 12 mA- 50%, 16 mA- 75%, 20 mA-100%.
