how many 1st class bricks in 1cu feet?
Answer Posted / yaseen jan
volume of brick= .75'x.25'x.375'
volume=.070cu ft
now in 100 cft = 100/0.070
=> 1428.57 nomber of bricks
now 10% mortar /////
deduction of mortorr= 10x1428.85/100 = 142.85
nomber of bricks
so net number of bricks = 1428.57-142.85= 1285.72
now for contengencies = 5%
so => 5x1285.72/100= 64.28
now total nomber of bricks= 64.28+1285.72=1350.006 NOMBER OF
BRICKS
HENCED PROVED.
but The problem is that if we find the quantity of mortar in masonry wall we consider that 30cft mortar use in 100cft masonry wall. and if we find the numbers of bricks we deduct 10% mortar from 100cft. so in this situation we deduct 10% and if we find numbers of bricks its 30%. so some problem created here plz solve the problem.
