how amny bricks of size 240 mm X 120 mm X70 mm are required in
100 cubic meter brickwork. How much cement is required at 10
mm masonry and at 4:1 sand cement ratio and how much cubic
meter of sand is required for the above work.
Answer Posted / vijayshankar
1 Brick = 0.24*0.12*0.070 = 0.002016 Cu.m
For 1Cu.m = 1/0.002016 = 496 Bricks
For 100 Cu.m = 100*496 = 49600 Bricks.
Cm ratio 1:4
Consider the thumb rule method 25% of Cement mortar
required for the brick work
=0.25*100= 25Cu.m of Cement mortar
That means 25 Cu.m of Sand is required
