cooling tower???????????
Answer Posted / kumar phanishwar
there are two types of heat exchangers based on the type of
interaction between fluid:
1. Direct Contact
2. Indirect Contact
Shell & Tube as well as plate type heat exchangers are
indirect contact heat exchangers as heat transfer is through
the surface separating two fluids.
Cooling tower in a direct contact heat exchanger.
In this type of heat exchanger fluids mix with each other
and transfer heat as well as mass.
