What will the new flow factor if D/P Transmitter is
RE-RANGED from 25" WC to 50" WC
Answer Posted / enka group iraq
Ans;- A simple calculation is as follow :- Q1 / Q2 = √DP1/√dp2
Q1= Q2 X √DP1/√dp2
Q1 = new flow factor, Q2 = existing flow factor
DP1 = transmitter new range DP2 = transmitter existing range
Q1 = Q2 X √50/25 = Q2 X 1.41
The new flow factor will be 1.41 times higher then the existing flow factory
