What is the difference between a Distribution Transformer
and a Power Transformer.
Answer Posted / ankit srivastav
The main difference is.. distribution transformers are used for electricity distribution.Means it has a nutral point. And used with low tension.
But,
Power transformers are used in grid, used in high tension supply. Dont have nutral point.
Or you can say.. distribution transformers winding are connected in delta-star.
And power transformers winding are connected in delta-delta.
