the water cement ratio of m-20( 1 : 1 1/2 : 3 ) is taken normally 0.45 . Example for 1 cmt m-20 grade of concrete cement consumption is around 350 kg, thus the water consumption will be as below

consumption of water = cement x 0.45

= 380 x 0.45

= 171.00 kg ( =188 lit )
