some of the advantages of AC over DC are
1) it can be stepped up or stepped down in voltage
2) it can be transported to longer distances
3) it can have least loss power loss due to heating.
4) it is easier and cheaper to produce
5) it is economical to trasport. etc.,
6) it is easy to design equipment
7) size of the AC machine will be small

What shall be the secondary output voltage if the primary winding of a 220/6V, 50 Hz transformer is energized by an 110V, 60 Hz supply?
