How to calculate the voltage drop of 4 Core 50 Sqmm SWA
cable for a distance of 350 mtrs and what can be the
maximum load connected to it?
Answer Posted / avd
Voltage drop in cable is a function of load current. It is
simply V=IRL. where V= voltage drop in cable, I= Load
current, R = Resistance/meter length, L= length of cable in
meters.
For maximum current carrying capacity of cable please see
menufacturers catalogue.

In Power Line Communication (PLC) the wave trap is used to block communication signals from entering neighboring lines. My question is this: Why do they allow for different filtering arrangements on these wave traps? Isn't it always going to be a low pass filter since we want the power frequency to go through, and the comm signal blocked?
