URGENT PLEASE//////////A WORK SHOP IS HAVING A 100 KVA
TRANSFORMER 11KV/415 VOLTS,
AND THE CONNECTED LOAD OF THE WORK SHOP IS 80 KW WITH
INDUCTIVE LOADS, LIGHTING LOADS,ETC.,
HOW MANY EARTH ELECTRODES ARE NEEDED AND WHAT IS THE EARTH
RESISTANCE OF EACH EARTH ELECTRODE AND COMBINED EARTH
RESISTANCE in normal soil. AT 11 KV SIDE AND AT LT SIDE. HOW
TO CALCULATE.

For any transformer it is better to install two for body
eathing and two for Neutal earthing
Body Earthing: GI pipe 40mm dia using charcoal and salt
like this
Neutral Earthing: Copper plate 600x600x3 mm size for
netural earthing with all neccesary materials
After completion of Earthing you need to check the earth
resistance value for these earthing it should be below 3ohms
I think these are the neccasary requiremnts for your
trasnformer
According to IS standards the distance between pits must be
2.5mtrs and from the building it should be far from 3000mm
I am taking Electrical desining classes in Bangalore...It
will be usefull for designing as well as site engineers
those who are intrested to go for Electrical
Engineers....we give you indepth knowledge of Load calu,
Cable sizing, Lighting cal, panels, breaker
selection,Autocad drawing....if any body intrested means
