how to calculate the megger values for motors and cables?
Answer Posted / pradyumna171
megger value of any appleance should be 2 multiply with working voltage in kv plus 1 ie a 440 volt motor should have 1.88Mohm (2* .440 +1) , it is the minimum value. And megger voltage should be twice of working voltage of appleance.
