Unit cost is nothing but it is cost estimation of any product as (product cost = Material + Labour + Overhead)
After actulization if there are varience in cost as plan Vs. Actual cost then reason would be below for the same.
May result from either higher than expected use of indirect materials,indirect labor or supplies or increases in indirect manufacturing costssuch asfuel
