Why we have use 3 & 1/2 core cable use for general electrical supply arrangement
Answer Posted / mansingh
1/2 CORE USED FOR NEUTRAL CONNECTION. IF ELECTRICAL LOAD IS
BALANCED THEN NO LOAD WILL BE ON NEUTRAL, IF LOAD IS
UNBALANCED THEN UNBALANCED LOAD WILL GOES THROUGH
NEUTRAL.SO FIRST WE SEE THAT LOAD IS BALANCED IN PHASES
THEN IN THIS CONDITION NO CURRENT WILL FLOW THROUGH
NEUTRAL,SO NOT REQUIRED FULL CORE.
