(10'x10')10mm thick ratio 1:5. wht"s the formula?
Answer Posted / anant dawale
For 100 sqft;(9.295 m2)Plastering
3.0488m x3.0488m ;Thickness=0.02m (20mm)
Dry volume of mortar= 3.048 x 3.048 x.02= 0.1859 m3
Wet volume of mortar (30%) = 0.1859 x 1.3= 0.2416 m3
Mortar Proportion =1:5.
Volume of Cement= Wet volume /(1+5)i.e .02416/6=0.0403 m3
Qty of Sand=0.0403 X 5 = 0.201 m3.
Volume Of Cement/Bag= 0.034 m3
i.e.for 1 Bag of Cement ; Sand = 0.17 m3
