a 650 KVA diesel generator is 1500 rpm, voltage is 415V n full load amps is 805 something, when are applied load more than 400 amps it's voltage is dropping, what is the reasons...?
Answer Posted / satya dev
There is a lot of reasons to droping thevoltage during the
load.
Electrical reason - 1. Excitation voltage is not build up
to the requiered limit.
2.Fuel pump actuator is not working properly.its required a
certain DC voltage for certain load.
Mechanical Reason- If the DG set is more than two cylinders
may be one piston is not working properly, may be push rod
of the piston got broken.
