If P will increase then what will happen with PID?

Answer Posted / warren holden

Increasing P (proportional gain) will result in faster,
more aggressive, control dynamics with potentially more
overshoot and longer settling time to steady state
condition in the closed-loop response (assuming that I
(integral action time) and D (derivative action time)values
are held constant whilst P is increased).
