in three pin plug point, whats the reason that one plug
point is bigger in size

during earth fault the fault current is large depending on rating of equipment.hence to transfer this current to earth without being melted down the earth pin is of larger cross-section. larger the ampere rating of plug or socket more is the cross section size of earth pin.
