extremely urgent please, why a fuse is used before
voltmeter but not with a ammeter connected to a CT(current
transformer),thanks in anticipation.

Because Ameter is cnnected is series with line while
voltmeter is connected across the phase & neutral. if any
fault/short circuit occured in line the fuse will cut and
save the voltmeter and cercuit.
