Dead volume: It comprises the volume of HPLC system between
the point of injection to the point of detection, excluding
the part of column that contains packing.
Dwell volume: It includes the volume between pump and
column. in low pressure gradient it may be 1 mL & in high
pressure gradient it is to less.
