A Memorable Event in My Life
Sometimes in your life, some events happen that becomes an unforgettable memory for you and which teaches you such lesson that becomes one of the basic guideline in your life. The event that I experienced which taught me a valuable lesson happened when I accompany my grandmother went to hospital to operate her eye.
It was a Wednesday morning, everyone had to go to work and went to school. So I went to hospital with my grandmother because I did not have class on that day. Around eight o’clock morning, my uncle came and fetched me went to the hospital. After about 20 minutes, we arrived at the hospital. My uncle left the hospital after he had checked in for my grandmother.
Once we had checked in, we were escorted to the room that my grandmother supposed to deliver in. There was a nurse waiting there and helped my grandmother to measure her height, weight and blood pressure. After that, the nurse asked my grandmother to change the cloth and take-off all the rings and bracelets. Then, the nurse took some pills for my grandmother to eat that will help to lower blood pressure and asked her to wait for the turn to do the operation. While waiting for the turn, I took out the book and read.
It was my grandmother’s turn after waiting for three hours. When my grandmother was in the operation room, the parents of the patients were asking to go in to a small room. Inside the room, there was a nurse taught us on how to take care of the eye after the operation. The operation was over after an hour. Then, the nurse asked my grandmother to have a rest for half an hour before going back because the patient will feel dizzy after the operation. My uncle came and fetched us going back around seven o’clock.
As a conclusion, I would like to say that it is quite hard to write everything on one sheet of paper as there is so much to say, but it takes a lot of space. Summing up, I could say that this event, in some way
