can we use inductor in case of d.c.,if yes then what will
happen in circuit

When we give dc supply to
inductor it act as short
circuit.since inductive
reactance
XL=2.PI.F.L=0.(FOR dc
frequency=0)
Similarly for dc supply
capacitor act as open.
Because
XC=1/2.PI.F.C=1/0=infinite.
