what"s the cement, sand, aggregate(consumption) quantity
for 10 cm thick roof slab (1:2:4)
Answer Posted / aamir mushtaq shah
for 1 m3 concrete, volume=1m3
propotion=1:2:4
ie volume of cement = (1/sum or ratios)*1.52*30
6.5 Bags of Cement
volume of sand=
=0.43 m3
volume of aggregate=
=0.86 m3
for this slab we consider 1 m2 of .10m thick
volume of concrete in 1 m2 slab =1*1*.1
=.1 m3
for that volume,,,,,,cement=.142*.1
=.0142 m3
sand =.285*.1
=.0281 m3
aggregate=.571*.1
=.0571 m
