Logical Diagram of Active Directory? What is the difference
between child domain & additional domain server?
Answer Posted / vijay anand
Additional DOmain server (ADC) :
Holds the exact copy of DC ( domain controller ) by
replication process. If DC goes down automatically ADC
takes control.
child domain only for load balancing. reduces the load of
DC by managing the domain locally.
however DC has full control over all the child
domain .....member server and ADC ...........
