why we use kg/cm2 instead of kg/m2 as a unit of pressure. As
we know kg is a MKS unit and cm is a CGS unit. So why we use
combination of both(kg/cm2)while describing the pressure.
Answer Posted / rajesh kumar shukla
when we are meauring the presure in kg/m2as a unit of
presure hen then there is great difference in the result of
the presure as comparethan kg/cm2 because the surface or
cross sectional area at which the presure is to measure
have greater percentage error in measuring the area. so we
use the kg/cm2.
