If the motor is a common three phase motor (squirell cage)
then the rotor does not have any connections.
There are three coils now called U V W which are for the
three phases of a 415v supply. How these are strapped
together or brought out to other starter conections is
another story.
You can conect the three coils in delta which gives a
triangle where each end of one coil connects to the start
of the next. At each of these connection points one phase
is connected.
You can conect these coils in Star where the start end of
all coils are connected together, and the other end of each
coil connects to one of the three phases.
