plz tell.. how can we find weight(in kg) of 1 cum of m20
mix..? how can we find the ratio of cement sand and
agregate on site i.e if we given some amount of m20 mix
then hw we find the ratio..?

Answer Posted / mohammed mohiddin

1. M20 mix stands for 1:2:4 proportion

2. 1 cm.m of M20 mix contains 1+2+4 = 7 parts, in which

1 part of cement, 2 part of fine aggt & 4 part of

Course aggt.

3. unit wt of plain concrete (without steel) = 2400 kg/m^3.

4. Now,

Cement = 1/7 X 2400 = 342.85 kg

Fine = 2/7 x 2400 = 685.71 kg

Course = 4/7 x 2400 = 1371.43 kg

This way any problems of these kind can be sorted out.

... Good Luck...
