What is the generating voltage of a power station consided
generally?

11KV MAY BE OPTIMUM CONSIDERING COIL SIZE AND INSULATION COST. i.e., for particular range of capacity the generating voltage is less than 11KV means current level high in turns coil size will increase, generator size and cost also goes up. In vise versa generation voltage more than 11KV winding insulation cost may go up. Generator Capacity ranges from 10 to 110 MW the machines sized for 11KV which may be optimum and economical on considering efficiency of machine, cost and transportability limits.
