what need of NGR(neutral grounding registor)? What it works?
Answer Posted / sivashanmugam
neutral grounding resistor as like that of an earth ... in
generating station most probably transformer is an star to
delta connection generator side delta to star connection i
the transformer side grounding is not possible in case of
that ... one earthing transformer will be palced its an
zigzag winding for grounding the transformer side earth
bcos its an delta conn ... for neutral grounding resistor
ter will be an ngr panel in generator side unequal of
currents in phases grounded in ngr .... am not sure in this
answer if u peoples refer further mail me thank you.....
