what will happen if petrol is fed to diesel engine and disel
is fed to petrol engine?in any case engine will run or not?
Answer Posted / abhishek giri
diesel has low ignition temperature,so when it will fed to
petrol engine the engine will work but petrol has high self
ignition temperature so when petrol is fed to diesel engine
which woks on principle of compressing air and raising the
temp. upto the ignition temp of fuel could not ignite
prtrol, therefore diesel engine will not work when petrol is
fed to it.
