it is true ,commutator converts dc to ac because here we are
applying dc supply and dc has no frequency so it is not
possible production of flux so commutator is required to
convert dc to ac.

I have a current transformer with 1 main reading meter with transformer outside the building and a control panel having 5 CT reading meters with black round coils inside the building.
