what is the difference between analog and digital
communications? which is the efficient communication??
Answer Posted / rahul chahar
1.analog communication is transmitted in electronic pulses
2.it is a continuous transmission of data
3.in this communication the transmitted signal can take
voltage level corresponding to any real number so noise
interference is more and also we require a large no of bits
to represent data
4.in this amplitude and frequency vary together
in digital communication
1.discrete transmission of data
2.the signal is broken into binary format and then transmitted
3.in this transmitted signal can take voltage level of
finite number so less noise interference and hence we
require less no of bits to represent data
4.in this frequency and amplitude did not vary together one
always remain constant
we conclude that digital communication is more efficient
than analog communication
