On-the-job Training
this is an approach where the training is done at the work
site or within the premises of the organization. here the
employee i taught under a direct supervision of an
experience trainer.
The job is learnt by means of observing the doings of the
trainer. The trainee handles the actual materials that he
will be using when matured.this method is used when the
training is for only a small number of employees.
Advantages
1.it flexible
2.it saves time
3.cost involved is less
4.there is much speed in the transfer of the learning.
Disadvantages
1.most often it is not carefully designed
2.the method cannot work for complex task
3.interfere with performances
4.equipments gets damaged
