Why some transmitter shows flow in MMWC and some in TPH?
Answer Posted / anwar azim
Flow is propotional to sqare root of DP across the flow
element.Since this difference is very small the transmitter
is calibrated in the range mmWC.When the display is
according to range i.e 4-20mA FOR 0-2500MMwc tx shows flow
in mmWC.When one converts the range into engineering values
i.e 0-30TPH corresponding to 0-2500mmWC ,the tx show the
flow in TPH.The same can also be seen in percentage also.
