1)Take transformer oil sample from both bottom and top
section with suitable container on dry day
2)Adjust the BDV kit electrode for 2.5 mm and ceck with
gauge, increase the voltage till breakdown occur
3)Now a day automatic tester is available it will take
consicutive five readings with stiror. third reading will
be the BDV.

Draw the wave shape of armature current in a generator subjected to a sudden three phase short- circuit at its terminals. Define various reactance of generator from this wave shape.
