xy=c----------(2)
add -2 on both LHS AND RHS to the equation
xy-x+2y-2=6-2
xy+2y-x-2=4
y(x+2)-1(x+2)=4
(y-1)=4
(x+2)=4
y=4+1=5
x=4-2=2
put the value of x and y in equation 1
xy=c
5*2=10
c=10
