what is dry leg and what is wet leg?

Generally dry leg means without water ex: temperature
measurement thermo meter with out cloth or shield directily
to atm and with cloth ( we want to make it wet for
measurement)and subjected to atm or process

In control valve proximity inductive sensor is taken as digital feedback for full open and full close.Normally its volts 24v when the sensor acts the feed back voltage 14v so that our relay not indicating in plc panel . kindly give the solution.

Yokogawa CENTUMVP R6.09 unable to download to Engineering Station with ExaOPC R3.75 The issue is when I try to download the common project section to the Engineering Station (STN) from the HIS in System View, it is unable to connect. The error displayed is: WARNING: Could not connect to equalize destination. (7001) Retrying.
